Collect - Photo Journal, Diary App Reviews

no auto populating

Totally useless product. This does not auto populate a calendar with photos you took using a photo background for the days of a month. You must pick the photo yourself - and worst of all the app doesnt help you by narrowing down the selectable photos to the photos you took on that day. Basically, the app does nothing and has no functionality.

Love it ❤️

Its exactly what I was looking for!!!!!

GR8 options +backup; no iPad

Top 2 app of 6 similar ones tested. May consider using this 365 photo calendar. Easy to use for adults. Forget the impatient kids reviews. This app now has good month display, Super options, ability to modify days entries (could be slightly more intuitive), plus GR8 backup options in Dropbox & iCloud both. BUT, I found a competitor that I can use on *both* my iPhone & my new iPad mini. BUT that 365 competitor has no backup to PC or Dropbox, *just* disorganized and inaccessible iCloud backup. REVIEW: GRADE B+ Smooth running running photo calendar app - 18 weeks of use. Easy pic note feature. Love that it is Not mandatory to have a photo every day. That means less visual clutter, and only the most meaningful memory photos appear. GR8 extra features. And I went for the Pro upgrade esp. for Dropbox support, but all the other goodies are excellent. FEEDBACK: add (paid) upgrade to update to iPad compatibility! =RECOMMENDED= ...no longer use this app because it does *Not*support my iPad =^( Want to see a beautiful, memorable display of a month in photos? => view the month in landscape orientation on a large iPad display = WOW ...but this app cant do that.

Good, has flaws

I love the app but when I switched phones I had to sync every single date back and it was a long process and now random dates keep on disappearing when they sync automatically

Easy to Use

The collect app is easy to use and is a great way to document those everyday moments. Functionality is impressive, as is the choice of layouts for text.

Excellent app for Project 365 and much more

I have used Collect for years and it has been reliable and well-designed for Project 365 and much more. It has constantly evolved in the right ways. Ive been very satisfied with Collect.

Very great app, it could be greater

Some things to think about. Live photos being added and watchable for 6s users. Ability to add and watch videos and have the entries the same as photos. Ability to choose your overall mood for that day. Ability to collaborate with friends who have the app. Ability to use recordings for entries. Ability to use music as entries, ability to connect Collect with other popular apps, such as Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, IF, and Netflix. Especially "IF" because there is so much you can do with that app

I use Collect everyday.

The Collect app has become such a large part of my life, that this year it is one of my resolutions. I have resolved to take at least one photo and 144 characters of journaling every day. And Collect makes it easy. And the result is gorgeous. Document your life with Collect.

Not for iPad and Batch Upload still doesnt work.

This would be a 5-Star app if they fixed 2 very big issues: 1. Optimize for iPad. 2. Finally fix the Batch Upload to flickr feature. It hasnt worked properly since I downloaded this app last year. Out of 20 photos, Ill be lucky to have 2 upload before it fails. The thing I like most is the ability to create "cards" for each photo. I pair a haiku with each daily photo and the apps Ive used in the past were very cumbersome to use (trying to keep the text with the photos when uploading to fb and/or Flickr). Also, it appears this app keeps the full resolution photos. If youve ever tried creating a photo book of your Project 365s, this is a big deal.

Lacks iPad compatibility!

#MEH: Very good app now with the last few updates. Encouraging! BUT, no way to view the calendar correctly on an iPad, just on the little iPhone screen. GR8 features and interface! Better export features than the best competitor. *BUT* the other best 365 photo calendar app can show a beautiful, big iPad calendar of memorable daily thumbnails. #FAIRLYGOODAPP ...tested 1 month, disappointed. Chose competitor and now that app in daily use 9 mos. Feedback: add paid upgrade for use with iPad

Love this app!!

Ive used Collect for over a year now, and I just love it! Its such a great idea and using it has helped me visualize just how great every day can be!

Favorite memory app

This app is really easy to use, and I love it because I can use to document my life everyday. Its fun and I love looking back on past days and seeing what I did:)

My favorite app

I love this app! Its a daily image diary/journal. Ive had this app for 7 months now and I love scrolling through and seeing all the pics Ive added

Great to look back

I love this app; its great to look back on events and when they happened. I would like to be able to change the order of the pics I add on a single day without deleting and adding again though.

Great app for monthly collages!

Love this app. I use it to make monthly collages and video collages that are so easy.

Loved it until it stopped working

I found this app to use it on my newborn. My goal was to organize and take pictures daily. Loved how I can easily organize each picture by date. Now I can not even open the app anymore. Im so mad. Now I have to start all over and find a new app to record my baby daily. So disappointed.

Digital scrapbook!

Ive been using this app for the past three years to track my sons daily progression from birth on. Its easy to use, quick and I love that I can scroll back anytime I want and see how much hes grown! A great app for moms and dads who want to capture the daily but dont have time to do anything meticulous!

I love this app, but a few suggestions

Ive been using it for almost 2 years now and I love it. My only wish is that adding photos and editing them were a bit faster. Perhaps in the draft entries next to the crop, details, & delete button, have a tags button. To make tagging photos quicker than having to go from detail to tags and choosing a tag then going back to save. Having a quick tag button would make this app so much easier and quicker to add my photos. Tags are what I use to organize my photos. **Another suggestion: when viewing all my photos in a tag, if I click on a photo and then go back it resumes all the way to the bottom of the photos. So I have to scroll back up to find which photo I left off on. Id love if itd resume to the same row of photos I was looking at.

Awesome

Great app for daily photo memories.

Awesome app!

I love this app! It helps me a lot with my scrapbooking to keep all my photos in order! The only suggestion I have to make this the perfect app would be if we could edit the photos, i.e. Adjust lighting, contrast, maybe even allow us to blur, whiten teeth, etc...
